From 20 November 2026 to 6 January 2027, PortAventura Park celebrates its Christmas season, with its own decorations and shows across the park.
The full programme for this year hasn’t been published in detail yet. Previous seasons have included a Christmas parade, shows in the park’s theatres (among them an ice show inspired by A Christmas Carol) and the El Bosque Encantado Christmas village. Check the official website to see what’s on this year.
The rides keep running over Christmas, although opening hours are usually shorter than in summer and some water rides may close because of the cold.
Tips
- Days are short: arrive at opening time to make the most of the rides in daylight and save the shows for the evening.
- Wrap up warm: it gets cold by the sea at night, and you can get wet on the water rides.
- December bank holidays and school holiday days are the busiest.
