Roller coaster in Mediterrània
Furius Baco
Aaah!A launched roller coaster that goes from 0 to 135 km/h in around three seconds. The seats sit on either side of the track, so the feeling of speed is especially intense.
The story is about a professor building a grape-picking machine; if his monkey assistant pulls the wrong lever, the machine turns into a runaway catapult. From there, the train races along 850 metres almost at ground level, crossing ditches, diving into tunnels and skimming the water of the Mediterrània lake.
There’s no big lift hill: it’s all about the launch, one of the most abrupt you’ll find in a European park. After that, the layout is short and very fast, with turns hugging the ground.
Who is it for?
For anyone after pure speed. If you don’t like strong acceleration, start with something else: the launch comes with hardly any warning.
